Our premium primers lay the foundation for adhesion between the car surface and the base coat. An etching primer for bare metal or a sealer for an older paint surfaces and adhesion promotors for bumpers could be applied. We Utilize professional high quality spray guns or sprayers, ensuring smooth coats without overspray.
Auto Paint Booths
Our auto body paint shop booths offer the best environment to produce the finest quality finish. We utilize two downdraft baking booths. LED lighting allows us to see clearly as we apply our finishes.
Generally accepted as the best airflow style, our downdraft booths do an excellent job of controlling overspray and contamination. Air enters the booth through a full-length, filtered ceiling plenum. From there, air flows vertically over the product evenly before entering into the exhaust pit in the floor. Downdraft creates a better paint job, as it pulls excess paint down and away from the part.
Our baking paint booths, use ventilation and burners to heat the air to a desired temperature to bake paint. The booth’s controls allow the operator to select a temperature and drying cycle parameters. The booth then heats the air and distributes it throughout the booth, where it helps the paint dry quickly and cure efficiently. Baking paint in a booth helps paint dry faster than air drying, reduces dust incursion and provides a stronger, more corrosion-resistant finish.
Auto Painting
Refinishing a vehicle is more than just a quick spray and dry. Proper preparation is key to a long-lasting, professional-looking finish.
A flawless paint job begins with impeccable prep work. Grime, grease, or old paint can impede the adhesion of auto paint, causing potential corrosion or a patchy finish. Prepping your car properly is the foundation to a stunning, durable finish and a dazzling new paint job.
At our auto paint shop we remove all the parts from panel being painted like door handles, trim and bumpers. Because parts left unremoved risk overspray, diminishing the paintwork‘s professional look. Just taping over parts leaves paint lines or edges that over time will fail resulting in pealing from the edges of the paint line.
Beyond removing old paint, sanding preps the paint surface, fostering a solid bond with the paint and enhancing durability. A block sanding technique or an orbital sander ensures evenness and prevent visible marks.
Even post all the prep work, micro-contaminants can settle. Final Cleaning ensures they don’t meddle with the final paint job. An eagle-eyed inspection guarantees a spotless canvas for the fresh paintwork.
